Welcome

Welcome to Honor Oak Christian Fellowship! We are a community of people who follow Jesus Christ, from many different backgrounds, countries and ages.

We meet together at the Centre every Sunday to praise and thank God for all he has done for us and to learn more about him. It would be great to see you there, and at our other activities during the week.

This week

Sunday morning service: 22nd December at 11am, at the Centre (and on YouTube)

• This Sunday we are concluding our Advent series of messages considering why Jesus came to Earth. This week the Bible passage will be Galatians 3:26-4:7 and the message title is, "He came to make us sons."
• The Explorers group for children aged 3-11 will meet during the service.
• You are welcome to stay and chat after the service, with tea, coffee and soft drinks.
• The service will be shown live and also available afterwards on our YouTube channel.

Carols by candlelight: 22nd December at 6:30pm, at the Centre (and on YouTube)

• This Sunday evening we will have a more traditional carol service with lots of well known Christmas hymns and readings. Please do stay afterwards for tea and coffee and mince pies.

Christmas Day service: 25th December at 10:30am, at the Centre (and on YouTube)

• We will be meeting on Christmas Day to celebrate Jesus' birth. Please note the earlier time of 10:30am (and this will be a shorter service, so you'll have lots of time to get home for lunch!)

Boxing Day walk: 26th December at 11am, in Peckham Rye Park

• We'll take a gentle walk around the park. There will also be a visual scavenger hunt (essentially just trying to spot certain things) for the children (and any adults who want to join in). Afterwards we will have a light lunch at the church building. Please contact us for more details.

Our regular midweek meetings are on a break until the New Year.

Sunday morning service: 29th December at 11am, at the Centre (and on YouTube)

• This Sunday we have a special joint service with our brothers and sisters from Casa de Oración (the Spanish speaking church). We'll be meeting as usual at 11am, and the service will be in English and Spanish. All ages will be in the service throughout.
• You are welcome to stay and chat after the service, with tea, coffee and soft drinks, followed by a bring-and-share lunch.
• The service will be shown live and also available afterwards on our YouTube channel.

There will be no Sunday evening fellowship on 29th December.

New Year's Eve prayer meeting: 31st December at 7pm
